The Anti-Bullying Week 2015 creative competition is now closed.
The judging panel has met and the winning entries have been chosen. Winners will be informed through their school/organisation by Friday 6 November and will be invited to receive their prize at a special ceremony on Wednesday 18 November, during Anti-Bullying Week.
Due to the large number of entries, NIABF is unable to directly contact those who are not awarded prizes or to return any of the items submitted.
Lee Kane, Regional Anti-Bullying Coordinator, said:
“We are overwhelmed by the huge number of entries to our Anti-Bullying Week 2015 competition. On behalf of the whole Forum I would like to extend huge thanks to every young person who took the time to create a piece of art, pen a piece of creative writing or make a short film for the competition.
“This event is now one of the largest competitions for young people in Northern Ireland, and the standard of entries continues to get higher and higher every year. The judges had a very difficult task selecting the winners!”
Anti-Bullying Week runs 16-20 November 2015, and will focus on our understanding of bullying behaviour, under the title “What bullying means to me”.
Schools, youth groups, sports clubs and other organisations working with children and young people can still register to take part in the campaign. Click here to register.
