Lee Kane, Regional Coordinator of the Northern Ireland Anti-Bullying Forum (NIABF), has thanked everyone who took part in the Riders Against Bullying charity ride-out last month, raising £232 for NIABF.

The event, organised by Dundrum biker Shane Madden, saw motorcycle enthusiasts from across the region ride from Bangor to Newcastle, raising money for NIABF and awareness of bullying along the way. Receiving the cheque, Lee Kane said:

“On behalf of the Forum I would like to thank Shane and everyone that took part in this great event. This is an excellent sum of money raised and will go a long way in helping us to raise awareness of bullying amongst children and young people, and the adults that support them.”

The Northern Ireland Anti-Bullying Forum, which is hosted by the National Children’s Bureau, brings together a range of organisations across the voluntary and statutory sectors, working together to end the bullying of children and young people in our schools and in our communities.
